This year again and for the 5th year in a row, our restaurant Le Siècle takes on an opera feel with its dedicated evenings!

From October 20, 2023 and until next spring, Opera evenings are back at the Le Siècle restaurant, the gastronomic address of the West End**** hotel. Based on the concept of singing waiters – in other words when the waiters start singing opera arias while serving – these thematic evenings are open to the people of Nice and visitors. They will be able to enjoy a delicious menu prepared by the Chef, Cyril Breteau, while enjoying the greatest opera arias performed by two Riviera artists:Laurie Jauffret et Gilles San Juan.

Laurie is a lyric soprano singer who graduated from the National Conservatory of Nice, and Gilles San Juan is a tenor at the Nice Opera. Hidden among the restaurant staff, the two opera singers will discreetly provide service then, to everyone’s surprise, will take off their aprons to offer an incredible vocal performance!

On the program: the Air from the Jewels of Faust, the Donna è Mobile from Rigoletto or even the Brindisi from the Traviata, enough to revisit your classics and let yourself be carried away by these essential opera arias. Opera evenings are a unique concept on the Côte d’Azur. They can be discovered every other Friday until spring 2024, with two special performances for New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day.
